Awards
Dr Choudary was awarded SS Bhatnagar Prize (1990) by CSIR and received Best Scientist Award (2004) from Government of Andhra Pradesh. He is also a Fellow of Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore and Andhra Pradesh Academy of Science.
achievements
Choudary's research mostly focused on catalysis, process development and nanotechnology and their role in the present Pharmaceuticals and other related fields. He made the state-of-the-art laboratory of international standard in IICT in the area of Catalysis and Surface Science. He has got more than 100 patents to his credit of which more than 40 are from USA. More than 50 students were awarded PhD under his guidance.
Other Activities
Dr Choudary is a founder of Ogene Systems (I) Pvt Ltd, set up in Hyderabad in 2005, a contract research and manufacturing organization. He is heading 200 research teams focusing on Discovery research (pharma), Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine, Process development, Manufacturing and Clinical research.
